When selecting tank mates for  Tiger Barbs, it’s important to avoid pairing them with fish that have long fins or are slow swimmers. This is because Tiger Barbs have a tendency to nip at the fins of other fish, which can lead to issues in the aquarium. Therefore, it’s best to avoid housing them with species such as Angelfish or Long fin Danio. Tiger Barbs are an excellent choice for novice fish keepers.
