My mare is a warmblood and an easy keeper. She had the cresty neck that can indicate risk for founder. Even when she lost weight, it was still there. Following an injury and before starting extended rehab, her surgeon recommended that she begin a supplement with gamma oryzanol to build muscle. I couldn’t afford the one he suggested on a regular basis, so I started her on this one. Wow. It’s not quite as effective as the high-priced version, but for the price, it’s a miracle. The cresty neck is gone, and she’s slimmer in general. Even when I can’t ride her as much, just about everything she eats turns to muscle, and this is a horse who gets zero grain. I plan to keep her on Muscle-Up because it helps her stay fit, and she’s clearly lighter on her feet and happy about it. I was a little concerned because it’s a powder, and she doesn’t typically love those, but she happily eats this one. Must be yummy. I’ve liked Animed products in the past, and once again, the company is delivering great value.
